Quick and Dirty
2020 has been a year where all of us have had to change our plans and do things a little differently. For Greg, 2020 began with the debut performance of The Listening Ears in February. The plan was for the Ears to continue their work in the studio, perfecting compositions by Greg and his son, Ben. With studios closed and the rehearsal space unavailable, we had to go back to the drawing board. Quick and Dirty will be an online-only collection of demos recorded on Greg's computer. They will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most other online streaming services. Take a listen to the first release, "O, Black Susan," using the widgets below.
Greg Bueltmann is a writer, composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist based in Gary, Indiana. He currently performs as a solo act, and with The Listening Ears, a five-piece band featuring his son, Ben Bueltmann, Larry Beers (drums), Rafe Bradford (bass) and Bob Palmieri (guitar). Greg also serves Bethel Lutheran Church in Gary, Indiana as worship accompanist. Services are Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM
